I have employed Steve on several different projects and always been absolutely delighted with his work, both the finished result and the manner in which it was achieved. He constructed some enormous, sliding, floor-to-ceiling storage at a local church, which was technically quite tricky because of the weight of the materials, but he approached it with careful thought and research and the end result is functional and looks beautiful. More recently Steve constructed several storage units in our new home and the other trades on site were saying, "that's a really good chippy you have got". If you know what you want and draw as detailed a sketch as possible, Steve will instantly work out how to construct it and what modifications may be necessary. Moreover, he is a speedy worker and very pleasant to have around. Being a non-smoker, in my view, makes him better value for money! I can't recommend Steve highly enough and would never consider employing another carpenter.
